I dropped CM, says Vellappally Natesan

Kollam: SNDP general secretary Vellappally Natesan has owned up the responsibility for excluding Chief Minister Oommen Chandy from the function to unveil R. Sankar’s statue here on Tuesday and said the BJP had no role in the decision.

None would preside over the function and he would deliver the introductory speech, Mr Natesan said here on Monday. “There is a political motive in kicking up controversies. I have no regrets for exempting the Chief Minister from the function,” he added.
