Fazilka: Two more persons have been arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder of a 27-year-old Dalit man at Abohar here whose limbs were chopped off by suspected henchmen of liquor baron and Akali Dal leader Shiv Lal Doda, who continues to remain elusive.
"We have today arrested two more persons in connection with this case. Search is still on to arrest other accused including Doda," DIG Ferozepur Range Amar Singh Chahal said.

Meanwhile, police have come under strong criticism from the Opposition Congress for going soft on Shiv Lal Doda and his nephew Amit Doda, who had been booked for conspiracy. Union Minister Vijay Sampla yesterday had asked police to arrest those who were involved in the "murder".
A four-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to probe the case. The team members are DIG Amar Singh Chahal, Fazilka SSP Inder Mohan Singh, SP Abohar Harjeet Singh and SP Bathinda Nanak Singh.
Suspected henchmen of Doda, allegedly chopped off the limbs of Sain, while an arm and a leg of his friend Gurjant Singh Janta were severed in the attack led by one Harpreet Harry after a heated exchange broke out between Sain and Harry on Friday night at Doda's farm house in Abohar subdivision area.
Police had booked several persons including Harry, Raja, Radheyshyam, Wazir, Gulab, Chhajju, Simran, Happy and some unidentified persons under various sections, including Section 302 (murder), of the IPC in connection with the incident. Police is treating the case as a fall-out of "gang rivalry" between Bhim Sain and other group.
