New Delhi: It could well be labelled as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Gandhigiri” moment.

A day after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a series of fiery remarks against him after the CBI raided the Delhi Government Secretariat, Mr Modi offered a glass of water to AAP lawmaker Bhagwant Mann after he was left with a parched throat while vociferously protesting against the investigating agency’s action in the Lok Sabha.

An action, which evoked laughter and applause within the Lok Sabha took place on Wednesday when Mr Mann who was shouting slogans in the Well during Question Hour, felt thirsty and was probably looking for water on the table of the LS Secretariat officials, who sit in the Well.

A smiling Mr Modi offered him the glass of water kept on his table.
