Two medicos drown in Visakhapatnam sea

M. Subhash is battling for life at RIMs hospital

Visakhapatnam: Two final year MBBS students of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical  Sciences (RIMs) drowned in the sea in the Gara mandal of Srikakulam  district on Wednesday.

The condition of another student is said to be critical. The dead were identified as N. Anil, 21, and K. Sandeep, 21, belonging to Vizag. M. Subhash is battling for life at RIMs hospital. Police said that five boys and five girls studying at RIMs visited the Mathsya Desam beach in Gara on Wednesday morning. The other boys rescued  Subhash. Anil’s body washed ashore after a few minutes and Sandeep’s body was  recovered.
