Vijayendra Prasad's Valli is a romantic thriller with a science backdrop

S.S. Rajamouli’s father, popular writer Vijayendra Prasad is coming up with a sci-fi romantic film Valli, the first look of which was released on Thursday.

Says Vijayendra Prasad, “Recently, I met Salman Khan and I was narrating a funny incident involving my friend Radhakrishna and me. Salman laughed at the story and asked where my was friend now? I told him that I had last met him 10 years ago and since then I was not in contact with him.”

He adds that Salman took him to his farm house at Panvel. “While returning, around midnight, I had to stop the car. Another car stopped at a distance and a person got down and slowly walked towards me. He came up and loudly said, ‘Hey Prasad, what are you doing here?’.

It was Radhakrishna, whom I had last met 10 years back,” says Prasad, adding how sometimes close friends think of the same thing. “There is some scientific reason behind it. On this theory I am making this film Valli,” he adds.

The film is about a daughter who comes forward to help her father’s scientific experiment. In this course of action she remembers her earlier birth. The love story revolves around her earlier and current birth. “This is a romantic thriller with a science backdrop,” he says.

Neha Hinge plays the female lead while Rajith Krishna and Arhan are the lead actors.
