Telangana’s Srinu sails on
Disappointing day for Telangana cueists at 9-ball pool Nationals in city.

Hyderabad: K. Srinu was the only Telangana cueist of merit on Thursday at the 9-ball National Pool Championships being played at the Inorbit Mall here. Facing Manmeet Bhatia in a Round of 64 match, Srinu was utterly dominant, winning the encounter 7-0. Meanwhile, several Andhra Pradesh players had a good outing. Pandu Rangaiash defeated Hanish Sharma of Delhi 7-3 and Mani Kishore proved too good for Neeraj Kumar, who conceded the match when trailing 2-5. In the women’s section, AP cueist Rajini Devi defeated her Telangana opponent Akanksha Singh 5-2 in a qualifying match.
