Ahead of the much awaited fixture, here’s a look at the players who can make a difference.

Elano Blumer (Chennaiyin FC): The Brazilian star displayed his genius in the first season and continued doing so in the second as well. Though he scored four goals in this edition, no other footballer created more openings and chances.

Romeo Fernandes (FC Goa): He scaled new heights being the first ever Indian to play for a Brazilian club – Atletico Paranaense. He scored a couple of crucial goals this season against Delhi Dynamos in the semifinal and could pose a major threat to Marco Materazzi’s boys.

Stiven Mendoza (Chennaiyin FC): The current top scorer of the league (12) is Chennai’s trump card in the final. He will be keen to add more goals under his belt and win the title.

Reinaldo Da Cruz Oliveira (FC Goa): Not only does his name sound like Ronaldo, he proved that his skills are no less than the Brazil icon. With seven goals in the season, Reinaldo is FC Goa’s master stroke this season.

Thoi Singh (Chennaiyin FC): Another Indian, he has been the wall for Chennaiyin FC. One of the best defenders around, he played an important role in the second leg of the semi-final against Atletico De Kolkata.
