All set for Ekadasi at Tirumala

TTD has laid special carpets in the gardens to enable the pilgrims relax instead of waiting in long queues.

TIRUPATI: TTD executive officer Dr D.Sambasiva Rao personally inspected the arrangements for the Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Vaikuntha Dwadasi from the  early hours of Sunday, which continued for the entire day in different spells.

As a part of his inspection, the EO visited the VQC II compartments and inspected the food arrangements. Later, he interacted with pilgrims about the amenities.

The Govinda Mala devotees, as also others, expressed their happiness over the arrangements and the  hour-to-hour food supply in the compartments. Later, the EO inspected the arrangements made for the pilgrims who come on foot in Narayanagiri Gardens.

TTD has laid special carpets in the gardens to enable the pilgrims relax instead of waiting in long queues. Food, snacks and beverages are supplied to them by the Annaprasadam wing from time to time with the help of Srivari Seva volunteers.

TTD has also set up temporary toilets in the gardens separately for men and women pilgrims. DIG  Sathyanarayana, CVSO  Nagendra Kumar, SP Gopinath Jetti, ACVSO  Sivakumar Reddy, SE II Ramachandra Reddy, Dy EO Annaprasadam  S Venugopal, temple Dy EO C. Ramana, health officer Dr Sermistha and others were present.
