The 22-year-old 'Mr X' actress will be seen playing a tough girl and doing a lot of action.
“I haven’t met Jackie yet. I just completed a five-day stunt schedule in Beijing with the rest of the cast. It was absolutely awesome. I will be off for the next schedule in a couple of days. I won’t be here for New Year,” Amyra told PTI.
“She is a tough chic and audience will see a lot of action from me too. I have got a martial arts guy to prepareme for the next schedule as I have been old it will be harder than the first one.”
Amyra said she had no clue that she was auditioning for the film and all the actress knew was that it was her role was like Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie’s from 'Lara Croft'.
“Mukesh Chhabra (casting director) asked me to sign NDA for an audition and then he told me it was an English film and my role has a lot of action, something like Angelina Jolie’s in ‘Lara Croft’.
“Two weeks after the audition he told me that it was for a Jackie Chan film and the makers really liked my work. I was ecstatic.”
The actress becomes the latest Indian export to international cinema. Keeping excitement aside, Amyra said there is a fear in her about her future in the foreign territory.
“I never thought I would land a Hollywood project because I was so much into Bollywood and South. This is a third field. I am a little scared because my dates are packed. I will be shooting for this film and a Bollywood project ‘Ticket to Bollywood’ back-and-forth.
“I may not be in Mumbai for two-and-a half months now. So, I am really scared. I don’t really have expectations. I don’t over think my future. I have learnt”
Amyra added she is clear about the fact that she will not compromise on her Bollywood films for her career in Hollywood.
“I don’t want to miss out on Bollywood projects for my Hollywood career. I never say I am going to leave Bollywood and focus on Hollywood. I am not even focusing on it. This happened by chance.I would love to do more international films but this (Bollywood) is home and I would like to stay at home as much as possible.”
