US universities eye techies from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
Some universities that mushroomed since 2000s are cashing in on the craze for US education.

Hyderabad: The US universities Silicon Valley University (SVU) and Northwestern Polytechnic University (NPU), are led by Chinese Americans and most students studying there are from India, particularly from Telangana and AP.
Some universities that mushroomed in the US since 2000s are cashing in on the craze for US education among the lakhs of B.Tech pass outs from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana engineering colleges.
Dr N.V. Ramana Rao, senior professor of Civil Engineering at JNTU Hyderabad said, “There are around 550 engineering colleges in AP and TS and around 3.5 lakh students pass out with BTech degrees from these states.”
