Why conduct yagam now, Digvijay Singh asks K Chandrasekhar Rao

Hyderabad: Congress and BJP leaders have demanded Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to make public the expenditure incurred on the Ayutha Chandi Yagam.

AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh said, “Since KCR himself has said that Rs 7 crore would be spent for the yagam, I demand he discloses how he is able to spend such a huge amount.”

Speaking to DC from Delhi, Mr Singh said, “I am amused over its timing, when the entire state has already been declared drought-hit.
