Pirated CDs of a new film seized

VIJAYAWADA: Police task force team raided on a piracy gang at Panja Centre in Vijayawada and unearthed hundreds of CDs and DVDs of latest a Telugu movie on Friday. Task force ACP P. Muralidhar said that they raided on a shop of T. Suresh and found 12 CPUs of each having a capacity of delivering 12 CDs at a time. 
 
The police officials informed that when they raided the shop at Panja Centre, the accused, along with his assistant Harish, were making the CDs of Soukyam movie. At least 300 CDs of Soukyam movie and more than 15,000 empty CDs were seized. The police officials stated that they lodged a case against the accused and will produce him in the court. 
Mr Muralidhar said that it was the second arrest of the accused Suresh in the piracy case. 
He explained that the accused has a network with a Chennai-based piracy gang and with their support, he brought the piracy equipment from there.
