CRDA notifies Amaravati Master plan

Objections regarding the master plan would be received till January 31.

Vijayawada: The Capital Regional Development Authority on Saturday issued the notification for detailed master plan for Amaravati, the state’s new capital city.

Objections regarding the master plan would be received till January 31. As per master plan, the total capital city area is 217 sq. km in 25 revenue villages. The proposed Administrative City, Health City, Science City, Education City, Sports City, Justice City, Tourism City, Finance City and Industrial City will be part of Amaravati.

As per Section 38 of APCRDA Act 2014, a perspective plan had to be prepared for capital region within one year of its constitution and detailed master plan for capital city within two years of its constitution.
