Cops say girl abducted outside her college in Gurgaon has been freed
All three accused involved in the abduction of the girl have been detained by the police.
Gurgaon: A college girl who was dragged into a car and kidnapped in Gurgaon on Monday, has been freed, according to reports.
All three accused involved in the abduction of the girl have been detained by the police.
Gurgaon Police Commissioner Navdeep Virk told the media that the girl has been safely rescued and handed over to her family. He also said that she knew the accused.
The girl was kidnapped in broad daylight outside her college in Gurgaon and the crime was caught on camera, sending shockwaves across the nation.
The police had launched a probe into the matter and had examined the CCTV footage of the college.
The police at around 9:30 in the morning, received information in the control room that a girl was kidnapped.
An eyewitness here said that he could not see the number of the car as it was covered with mud.
Another eyewitness said that the girl was screaming for help.
