Rat poop was found in a pack of bisibele bath from an eatery on Church Street in Bengaluru.
BENGALURU: Anusha Ravi, a journalist, got a takeaway of bisibele bath from Vasudev Adiga's on Church Street for her lunch on Sunday. But she had a shock of her life when she allegedly spotted rat poop in the mixture that was given along with the rice dish.

A shocked Anusha put up photos of bisibele bath, the mixture with rat droppings and the bill paid, on Facebook.

When she took the parcel to the eatery, the staffer apologised and told her that it would never repeat, she states on her post.

“I didn't raise my voice against anyone of the staff members or shout and create a scene... I put up this post first on their FB page, but they seem to have deleted the post. That's why I am forced to put it up on my page directly,” she writes.

“The staff here even had the audacity to say he will exchange it, like hell I will eat from any of Vasudev Adiga's outlets anymore! I didn't take back my money, neither did I exchange the product. I demanded that the entire box of this boondi be thrown into the bin and made sure they did in front of my eyes," she states.

Group general manager, Vasudev Adiga’s, Mr Srinath, told Deccan Chronicle, “We follow stringent methods. We have a periodic pest control system in place. It is unfortunate that rat droppings were found. We ensure that hotel is cleaned up again and the hygiene is maintained.”
