Simbu’s father seeks God’s help
Actor's dad turned to God Vazhakarudeeswaran in Kancheepuram on Sunday so that his son would get out of the legal tangle without any harm.
Chennai: Veteran actor and filmmaker T. Rajender, father of actor Simbu who is wanted by the police for his controversial ‘Beep’ song, turned to God Vazhakarudeeswaran in Kancheepuram on Sunday so that his son would get out of the legal tangle without any harm.
Talking to reporters near the temple Rajender, former MLA and founder of a political outfit called Lakhsya DMK, said that his son had not committed any crime and the whole episode is a conspiracy against Simbu.
“He is not absconding. We will act as per the advice of the lawyer" Rajendar said when asked why Simbu was not surrendering to the police. “His fans and women from Tamil Nadu are behind him with support. A lot of organisations with neutral ideologies are supporting Simbu. I have been struggling for years and my struggle was always supported by my fans and cadres. I always supported them and they always supported me,” he said.
While his wife Usha Rajendar, in a TV interview last week, said that she would not hesitate to leave the state with her family, Rajendar on Sunday said that he can't find a reason to leave Tamil Nadu when there is so much support for Simbu.
