There have been reports suggesting that Vishal and Karthi plan to come together for the remake of yesteryear hit film Inaindha Kaigal, which was a big-budget flick then. The movie had Ramki and Arun Pandian in lead roles. However, when DC contacted Vishal, the actor quashed it as a rumour. He says, “We do have plans to work on a multi-starrer to raise funds for the Nadigar Sangam building. But this remake of Inaindha Kaigal is news to me.”
Talking about his upcoming Pongal release Kathakali in which he teams up with Catherine Tresa, he says, “It’s a thriller happening in a day’s time. There will be a back and forth narration. It’s a travel story which takes place between Chennai to Cuddalore. Though Pandiraj has done Vamsam, this is his first full-fledged action movie.” He adds, “There are no songs after the interval.” Composer Hip Hop Tamizha has roped in the Netherland Symphony for the re-recording of the film.
