Each school must be on 6 acres: K Chandrasekhar Rao

He said that the schools should be located in areas where minorities were predominant.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao suggested the officials of minorities welfare department to make admissions for Classes V, VI and VII class for the first year and gradually upgrade the schools to Class XII. 
 
Each school should be built on six acre at a cost of Rs 20 crore. He said that the schools should be located in areas where minorities were predominant.
 
While reiterating the stand of the government in shifting the Hyderabad Race Course Club and Chanchalguda Central Prison to the city’s outskirts, Mr Rao said that a huge chunk of land was required for construction of the residential schools in the city.
 
He said that the Race Course and the Central Prison were on vast tracks of lands and these would be ideal to build the schools.
