Rumours are abuzz that Premam director Alphonse Puthren and the Yennai Arindhaal actor Arun Vijay might team up together for a Tamil film. His recent meet with Arun has raised a lot of speculation regarding this. We learn that Alphonse, who had made his debut film Neram as a bilingual, could be planning the next one in Malayalam and Tamil.
It’s being said that currently he’s working on a script with Nivin Pauly in the lead role. When DC contacted Arun, who has Vaa Deal and Kannada movie Chakravyuha in his kitty, he neither confirmed nor denied this news. “I just landed in Chennai from Bengaluru for the New Year’s eve. I finished the shoot for Chakravyuha with Puneet Rajkumar. Alphonse is a good friend of mine and I know him since his Neram days. I don’t want to say anything now. I will make an official announcement at the right time,” he said. After the successful Yennai Arindhaal, Arun didn’t have any Tamil releases. Ask him why, and Arun says he’s extremely being careful choosing his scripts. “I have been hearing a few. When something interests me, I will it give my nod, but I don’t want to repeat myself,” he added.
