Ever since the news of Nandish Sandhu and Rashami Desai couple parting ways has surfaced, the blame has always been put on Nandish’s philandering ways and irreconcilable differences between the two.
During his stint on the show, the set would often be abuzz with stories of how he two timed co-stars Rashami and Tina (Dutta). Rashami knew about Nandish’s philandering ways and accepted him understanding that he may never mend his way.
However, a source close to the couple insists that Nandish cannot be blamed alone for breaking up the couple’s marriage insists a source close to the couple. Taking us deeper into the murky details, the source reveals, “The fact is that Nandish met his match in Rashami as she too was flirty by nature. While she was dating Nandish, she was allegedly in a relationship with actor Bharat Chawda too. Nandish also wasn’t very comfortable with Rashami’s past. Even though the couple tried their best to stay together, the bickering never stopped and with each passing day it became only worse.”
The source continues, “To make matters worse, the fact that Rashami was more successful than Nandish created a sense of regret in her as the relationship was giving the actress nothing in return.
And financial issues further widened the rift and Rashami had more or less made up her mind to dump Nandish,” adds the source.
This is confirmed by Nandish himself when he said it was Rashami who asked for a divorce last year. Post Nach Baliye, she asked for it again and he readily obliged.
The source further reveals, “During Nach Baliye, the lack of chemistry between the couple made it obvious that they were faking the relationship to participate in the reality show. After the show, the cracks became apparent again and the Nandish-Ankita affair was conveniently used to part ways while in reality it was long over between the couple. They mutually agreed to stage the reconciliation drama only to participate in the reality shows so they could make quick money.”
When contacted, Rashami said, “It’s a crucial time and all the questions are disturbing so no comments.”
