Deepika Padukone, who left her badminton career to foray into modelling until she got her first acting assignment in a Kannada film titled 'Aishwarya' in 2006. A year later, Deepika bagged a lead role in 'Om Shanti Om' opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Her debut earned her the Filmfare award for Best Debut that year. With films like ‘Love Aaj Kal’, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’, ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’, Deepika not only garnered critical acclaim but also gathered huge fan following.
