Mumbai: Former beauty queen, Navneet Dhillon dreams to dazzle on big screen. The beauty queen will debut in Bollywood with Girish Kumar in ‘Loveshhuda’. Navneet Dhillon gets chatty with DC where she talks about her excitement of starting her Bollywood innings and more.
Are you nervous about your debut ‘Loveshhuda’?
(Laughs) Absolutely not! I am not nervous but I am really excited about ‘Loveshhuda’. I believe the product is very good.
How was your experience working with Girish Kumar?
Girish is senior to me. He was so serious while shooting on the sets. I have learned a lot from him. We used to discuss and improvise our scenes.
Seems you have hit Girish many times in the film since he has a permanent scar next to his right eye?
(Laughs) Not at all. I didn’t hit him at all. The scar has its own story. Audience will understand once they will see the film.
Do you agree that Miss India gave you a push to Bollywood?
I thank the Miss India contest for bagging ‘Loveshhuda’ but talent is very important. I feel that I am a born actress. Beauty pageants and acting are two different things.
Have you been approached for any other films?
I will announce at the right moment may be in a day or two. (Laughs)
