Ranveer Singh shares best actor award with Amitabh Bachchan, falls at his feet

Mumbai: Ranveer Singh was his usual over-enthusiastic self, shaking a leg for the audience and keeping everyone in splits at a recently held award ceremony. The actor danced with Akshay Kumar as people cheered him on with equal enthusiasm. The bigwigs sitting in the front row were stunned when Ranveer fell at Amitabh Bachchan's feet in a manner of showing respect.
Amitabh and Ranveer won the Best Actor award for 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Piku'. Deepika Padukone was the star of the night as she bagged the top awards for 'Piku'. While Ranveer looked dapper in a Dior Homme suit, Deepika looked jaw-dropping beautiful in a white gown. The two were seated next to each other and shared few light moments.
Amitabh wrote a small note on his blog, "And so the Awards took place first .. the Screen Awards and yes .. there is prize for ‘PIKU’ for Best Actor .. happy for all those associated with the film .. meeting all the lovely co stars and friends ..laughter and surprise among guests .. Abhishek busy with various schedules and Aishwarya busy with Aaradhya .. who grows up a little thinner and then remains so .."
