Rajinikanth now needs a clean chit from the Chennai police — but don’t let your imagination run wild now! Shankar, the showman of Tamil cinema, has planned to shoot the next schedule of his magnum opus 2.O, a sequel to sci-fi thriller Enthiran, in Bolivia. According to the immigration policy of Bolivia, it is mandatory to produce an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the local police.

Sources close to the 2.O unit say that the entire cast and crew including Superstar, has sought the certificate from Chennai CoP so that they can proceed with the schedule as planned. The first schedule of the film was completed last month at a specially erected set in the city, where its lead pair Rajini and Amy Jackson took part. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, who essays an antagonist in the film, flew down to Chennai when the movie went on floors.

Meanwhile, we hear that Rajini is wrapping up his other flick Kabali, and if sources are to be believed the film’s audio launch will take place in Malaysia, where most of the gangster film was shot.
