JLR to launch all-new Jaguar XE in India next month

New Delhi: Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover is planning to launch an all-new version of its luxury sedan Jaguar XE in India next month. The all-new Jaguar XE will be launched in India on February 3, with two petrol engine options, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India said in a statement. Jaguar retailers have now formally started accepting bookings of this exciting new addition to the Jaguar product portfolio in India, it added.

"The launch of the all-new Jaguar XE in petrol in February this year will flag-off our journey to enter into a new territory and mark a significant milestone in the expansion of Jaguar's product offering in India," Rohit Suri President JLR India said.

The luxury sedan displays levels of innovation never seen before in this segment, he added.

"Coming from an impeccable lineage of extraordinary Jaguar sports saloons, we are confident that XE's thrilling performance and dynamic design will set a new standard for excellence and will be a game changer in the segment," Suri said.

The Jaguar range in India includes F TYPE sports car with price starting at Rs 1.26 crore and locally manufactured XF sedan has price starting at Rs 47.7 lakh. It also sells XJ sedan in India at a starting price of Rs 97.2 lakh (All prices ex-Mumbai pre octroi). Jaguar vehicles are sold from 23 dealerships across the country.
