Ahmed Khan to wear the director's hat

Ahmed Khan, who had worked as choreographer in the 2002 hit Awara Paagal Deewana, has been made an offer to direct its sequel. It was producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s idea to rope him in for the film.

A source said, “Ahmed and Firoz have had several discussions on the film and how to take it ahead. Ahmed is a busy choreographer and is committed to multiple projects at the moment. But now he will plan his work in such a way that he can make time for this project. They are planning to take the film on floors either by the end of this year or by early 2017.”

Meanwhile, Sajid Nadiadwala is also in the process of roping in the sought after choreographer to direct another film that will most likely feature Tiger Shroff in the lead.

However, the cast of the Awara Paagal Deewana 2, will take some time to fall in place.
