Demystified: Check out why petrol prices rise and fall in India

In view of the Indian Government hiking the excise duty on petrol and diesel prices on Saturday and yet the marginal fall in Petrol prices that was announced a few days ago. The video captures the journey of petroleum price from its crude state to being shipped to India to being retailed at the petrol pump. The objective of this video is to demystify some of the common assumptions that consumers have about petrol pricing and to educate them about the various components including taxes levied by Central and State Government on the commodity.
