Chevrolet has also discontinued the Enjoy MPV and shelved the Spin's launch plans, while it will introduce the new Beat and its twin compact sedan soon.

After having made its debut in concept form at the Bangkok Motor Show, the thoroughly revamped Chevrolet Trailblazer has now been spotted testing in the NCR region recently. The American carmaker has been on a mission to thoroughly overhaul its line-up in the country, and the 2017 Trailblazer SUV is part of the push. Chevrolet has also discontinued the Enjoy MPV and shelved the Spin’s launch plans, while it will introduce the new Beat and its twin compact sedan soon.

Speaking of the changes in the 2017 model, Chevrolet has completely reimagined the front fascia of the facelifted Trailblazer. The sides and the rear profile are largely unchanged save for the new set of 18-inch alloy wheels. The front features a new grille which is now more in line with global Chevy models and is flanked by re-styled slender headlamps with LED daytime running lights.

Besides the front fascia, the biggest change in the mid-life updated Trailblazer is its new dashboard. The new dash looks premium in contrast to the current one, and Chevrolet has highlighted that it has improved the overall quality of the material used. The vehicle will feature the latest generation Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system, which will support Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto. Another noticeable change is the addition of an electronic power steering in place of the current hydraulically powered current unit.

Mechanically, the Trailblazer's 2.8-litre diesel engine and its six-speed automatic transmission remain unaltered. The facelifted model is expected to go on sale early next year in India and is likely to come in more variants, including a 4WD version. Currently, it is only available in a single variant with 2WD option.
