Ducati launches 959 Panigale Superbike in India

959 Panigale is the latest superbike from the Italian superbike maker Ducati  for the Indian market.. 959 Panigale is now available for sale in the country at a price of Rs. 14.04 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike made its Indian debut at the 2016 India Bike Week held in Goa.

Built on the same platform of its elder sibling 1299 Panigale, the 959 Panigale gets a new split-section tailpiece, refreshed air intakes, more angular rear view mirrors and new billet-machined aluminium foot pegs along with the safety features like ABS, Ducati Traction control (DTC) and Engine Brake control (EBC).

The new superbike of Ducati is powered by a 955cc L-twin Superquadro engine producing 157bhp @ 10500rpm of peak power and 107.4Nm @ 9000rpm of peak torque. The engine gets mated to a 6-speed DQS (Ducati Quick Shift) transmission gearbox. The Quick Shifter along with the slipper clutch helps for feaster gear changes.

Ducati 959 Panigale will be a tough competitor for Suzuki’s GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F superbikes and the other bikes in its segment. The Italian manufacturer offers its latest superbike with a service after every 12,000 kms along with a 2-year and unlimited mileage warranty.
