2019 Renault Duster prices to start from Rs 8 lakh; launch on 8 July

The Duster facelift is set to get the same starting price as the current model. It will also receive a more affordable AWD option

The upcoming Renault Duster facelift is set to be launched on July 8 with updated cosmetics and few more features. While the full details will be shared at launch, we know it will have the same starting price as the outgoing model at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The top-spec variants are likely to be priced at a slight premium as they are likely to get more features.

Renault is expected to maintain the same variant list for the updated Duster but there will be one key introduction. The mid-spec RxS variant will now get the AWD option, which is currently restricted to the top-spec RxZ variant. It will be priced significantly lower than the outgoing RxZ AWD’s Rs 13.10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) price tag. As expected, it will get fewer features.

The updated Renault Duster has already been spotted ahead of its launch. It gets refreshed looks, new alloy wheels, a new exterior colour option and an updated cockpit as well. It is also expected to get more safety features as standard. The Duster will continue to be offered with the same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options with both manual and automatic transmissions.

This 2019 update will allow the Duster to continue its rivalry with various SUVs.such as the Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and the upcoming Kia Seltos as well. Currently, the Duster is priced between Rs 8 lakh to Rs 13.10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
