Honda SP160 launched at Rs 1.18 lakh

PUNE: Japanese automaker Honda Motorcycle & Scooter on Tuesday introduced a new sporty 160cc bike called the SP160 in the Indian market in two variants with a starting price of Rs 1.18 lakh at Delhi showroom.

The Honda SP160 is a stylish motorcycle. The bike features an LED headlamp, tank extensions and an aerodynamic under cowl. It comes with a single-piece seat and a digital instrument console. Some of the other features include an engine stop switch, a hazard switch for emergency stops, 177 mm of ground clearance and a wheelbase of 1,347 mm.

“The all new SP160 motorcycle is a representation of cutting-edge engineering and advanced innovation that is sure to fulfill the customer expectations,” boasted Tsutsumu Otani, MD at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.

The new bike is powered by a 162.71cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that makes 13.2 BHP and 14.59 Nm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
