New colour options for the Bajaj Avenger range
The sales which - started from 3000 units per month - have now crossed the 30,000 units per month mark.
The Avenger from the Indian motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj has turned out to be a big hit for the company. The sales -- which started from 3000 units per month -- have now crossed the 30,000 units per month mark. This shift happened after the company updated the Avenger range last year. Last year Bajaj introduced the all-new Avenger 150, which is currently the cheapest cruiser being sold in the country. The Avenger 220 got two new variations -- the 220 Cruise and the 220 Street. To keep up the sales figures growing in the same order, Bajaj has introduced new colour options for the Avenger series. The Avenger 150 Street, which is currently being sold in Midnight Blue will also be available in a new Cosmic Red colour. The Avenger 220 Street which was only available in Matte Black, will now also be offered in Matte Wild Green. The Avenger 220 Cruise was recently updated and is now available in a new shade: Desert Gold.
Commenting on the launch of the new colour range, Eric Vas, President - Motorcycle Business, Bajaj Auto Ltd said, “The Avenger is known for its world class styling and unbeatable comfort. The introduction of two unique new colours in The Avenger Street lifts the style of the Avenger to a new level in the motorcycle industry. We are confident that the introduction of Cosmic Red and Matte Wild Green will find immediate appeal amongst the fast growing Avenger fan-base across the country.”
Apart from the addition of new colours no mechanical or cosmetic update have been made on the Bajaj Avenger cruiser motorcycle range. The new Matte Wild Green Bajaj Avenger 220 Street retails for Rs 85,947 while the Avenger 150 Street carries a sticker price of Rs 75,500 (both prices are ex-showroom Delhi).
