Ola goes full-throttle, expands its portfolio to 6 models

Bengaluru: Ola Electric has accelerated the momentum towards ending the #ICEAge with the expansion of its Ola S1 portfolio and the launch of its Ola S1 Air.
While Ola’s S1 portfolio gets new 2KWh battery pack variant, the Ola S1 Air too has been announced in 2 variants, powered by 2KWh, 3KWh and 4KWh battery packs respectively.
Bhavish Aggarwal, Founder and CEO, Ola, said, “The uptick in EVs has been quick once world class alternatives to ICE vehicles were made available for the Indian customers. With the dominance of Ola S1and Ola S1 Pro in the premium scooter segment, India is already one of the biggest EV markets in the world.”

Carrying forward the momentum into 2023 as well, Ola surpassed the 25000 units sales mark yet again in January while also clocking its best month ever monthly performance.
Now bolstering the already formidable S1 portfolio, Ola’s new S1 variant is powered by a 2kWh battery, the powerful 8.5 kW motor, and packs in the familiar great acceleration and performance of the other variants,but at a much more affordable price. Priced at Rs. 99,999, the new Ola S1 variant offers an IDC range of 91kms and a top speed of 90kms/hr.
The purchase window for the new variant opens immediately, while the deliveries will begin from March2023.
The new S1 variant will also be available in all 11 color palettes - Gerua, Matt Black, Coral Glam, Millennial Pink, Porcelain White,Midnight Blue, Jet Black, Marshmellow, Anthracite Grey,Liquid Silver,and Neo Mint.
