Nissan to enhance dealer benefits
The firm expects Nissan Kicks XE would increase the sale volumes and give a breather to its dealers.
Hyderabad: With macroeconomic conditions taking toll on auto dealers, Nissan India is planning to support its partners by enhancing profitability of dealers by increasing margins and pushing sales through new launches.
“The automobile market is not doing well. It has seen a degrowth of 20 per cent... We know that the dealers are under financial strain. We are planning to keep afloat them by increasing profitablity by increasing margins and pushing sales through new launches,” said Hardeep S. Brar, Director and Board Member, Nissan.
The firm expects Nissan Kicks XE would increase the sale volumes and give a breather to its dealers. While none of Nissan dealers are planning to exit the business, Brar said “the government should quickly act to improve consumer
sentiment in the country before the festive season begins.”
