What the Indian Ford Mustang Includes

After nearly fifty years Ford has finally decided to give the Mustang to right-hand drivers by moving its steering wheel from left to right and making it a perfect road car for countries like the UK and India. After selling more than nine million and six generations since 1964, Ford showcased its iconic Mustang at the 2016 Auto Expo. It's all set to launch in the country on 13th July, 2016. The current sixth generation Ford Mustang even comes with independent rear suspension which would certainly make the ride more comfortable for Indian roads. Here's all you need to know about the Indian version of the Ford Mustang.
Mustang GT Fastback
Globally, it comes in fastback and convertible versions, but in India, we’ll be getting only the former. Besides the sportier Shelby avatars, Mustang comes with three engine options — 2.3-litre EcoBoost, 3.7-litre V6 and 5.0-litre V8. India will get the top-of-the-line, roaring 5.0-litre V8, which is only available in the GT versions.

Prices
The Mustang has legions of fans around the globe, including enthusiasts in India, and the American automaker is well aware of this. Ford is likely to price the Mustang aggressively and we expect it to be priced in the vicinity of 70 lakh. The Mustang will be a CBU (completely built unit) import from Ford's Flat Rock assembly plant in the USA.
