Maruti Suzuki will take the wraps off the 2018 Ciaz facelift later today and will announce its prices as well. We’ve got our hands on the official accessories brochure of the updated Ciaz just ahead of launch. It reveals the car’s exterior colour options and gives us the first set of official images of the updated model along with the list of accessories on offer.

As revealed by the spy images before, the 2018 Ciaz will get a new set of bumpers, revised headlamp assembly and a new front grille. Visual changes inside the cabin will be limited to the colour of the faux wood insert only - it will now be in a lighter shade of brown. Metallic Glistening Gray and Metallic Silky Silver exterior body colours will be replaced by Metallic Magma Gray and Metallic Premium Silver.

The brochure reveals a whole lot of basic accessories for the 2018 Ciaz. An exterior styling kit will also be on offer. It will include a boot spoiler and all-around skirting to lend the sedan a sporty look. The kit will be available for all the seven exterior colours of the 2018 Ciaz. Other notable accessories will include multiple alloy wheel design options, rear windshield spoiler, interior styling kit (Birch Blonde finish), rear sunshade and rear seat entertainment, which includes DVD playback option.

The 2018 Ciaz facelift will get a new 1.5-litre petrol engine rated to develop 105PS of maximum power. The new petrol engine will be coupled with Suzuki’s SHVS mild-hybrid tech. With an ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency of 21.56kmpl (for manual), the updated Ciaz is expected to set a new benchmark for fuel efficiency amongst its petrol-powered peers. The diesel engine will be the same 1.3-litre unit paired with SHVS tech that powers the outgoing model. It will be available with a manual transmission only.

Apart from the cosmetic changes and a new petrol engine, the 2018 Ciaz will also gain some features. Cruise control, electronic stability program, hill-hold assist, LED headlamps and fog lamps, speed alert system and seatbelt reminder will be amongst the new additions.

The 2018 Ciaz will be available in four variants -- Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. There will be an automatic transmission option as well with the petrol Ciaz. The 2018 Ciaz automatic will be available in all variants except Sigma. Bookings for the 2018 Ciaz facelift started a while back and we expect the prices of the updated version to start from around Rs 8 lakh.
