Vinod Aggarwal is the New MD of VE Commercial Vehicles

The Board of Directors for VE commercial vehicles has appointed Mr. Vinod Aggarwal as the new Managing Director. The new role that Mr. Aggarwal will be playing was announced on 26 October 2016 after the Board of Directors meeting. Vinod has been working with Eicher since 1983.

Siddhartha Lal, Chairman, Board of Directors, VECV congratulated Mr Aggarwal and said "On behalf of the Board, I congratulate Vinod and wish him success in leading VE Commercial Vehicles to greater heights."

Mr Aggarwal is a commerce graduate, an associate member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and a fellow member at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer in 2006, and was promoted as the President of Eicher Trucks and Buses in 2009. Later in 2010, Eicher decided to extend his role to the Chief Executive Officer designation for the VE commercial vehicles.

The collaboration between Eicher and Volvo has been scaling new heights and Mr Aggarwal has played a key role in the same. The new MD has been working with Eicher since 1983 and has an experience of more than 34 years and on the other hand Siddhartha Lal is around 43 years old in age.
