Bajaj Freedom 125, World's First CNG Motorcycle Launched in India

Bajaj Auto on Friday launched World's first CNG motorcycle named Bajaj Freedom 125.
The motorcycle, powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine, will run on petrol but it can switch to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) at the press of a button.
CNG-powered cars have been around for over a decade but Bajaj Freedom 125 will be the first motorcycle to use this technology, not just in India buy anywhere in the world.
According to reports, Bajaj Freedom 125 offers a mileage of 213 kilometers per kilo of CNG, making it a highly efficient option for commuters.
Variants and Price
Bajaj Freedom 125 has been launched in three variants - NG04 Drum, NG04 Drum LED and NG04 Disc LED. The base Drum variant starts at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom). The Drum LED variant is priced at Rs 1,05,000 (ex-showroom) and the top Disc LED at Rs 1,10,000.
The bookings for the Freedom 125 are now open, which can be done via the company's official website and authorised showrooms.
The base Drum variant of Freedom 125 is available in two colours and LED variants are available in five colour options.
