PUNE: Revolt Motors, the electric motorcycle maker, has launched its third electric motorcycle, the RV1, in the commuter segment in the Indian market.

The e-bike is available in two variants – RV1 and RV1+, priced at Rs 84,990 and Rs 99,990, respectively.

“With modern and updated looks and features that are best in the segment, RV1 brings a new level of style and practicality to the electric motorcycle segment,” said Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises.

She said a blend of cutting-edge technology and thoughtful design, RV1 has been made to provide an exhilarating ride experience for the discerning Indian rider.

The Revolt RV1 is powered by a 2.8 kW electric motor that drives the rear wheel via a chain drive.

The base variant comes with a 2.2 kWh battery offering a range of up to 100 km on a single charge, and the RV1+ variant comes with a larger 3.24 kWh battery pack that can cover 160 km on a single charge.

The smaller battery can be charged from 0-80 per cent in 2 hrs 15 min, while the 3.24 kWh version takes 3 hrs 30 mins. Both variants have a top speed of 70 km/h.

The RV1 is offered with a 6-inch digital instrument console, a reverse mode, and built-in charger storage.

The bike rides on black alloy wheels, with a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It is equipped with disc brakes.
