Ultraviolette begins exporting F77 electric bikes from Bengaluru to Europe, boosting India's electric vehicle sector

Bengaluru: Minister of Commerce and Industries M.B. Patil on Tuesday kick-started the export process of F77 electric two-wheelers to European markets manufactured by Ultraviolette Company in Jigani near Bengaluru city.

He termed the F77 electric two-wheelers produced by Ultraviolette Company as “world class” and these motorcycles are celebrated for their quality manufacturing, cutting-edge technical expertise and superior mileage.

The Ultraviolette Company is run led by pioneering and entrepreneurial Kannadigas and the Company began exporting their vehicles to European countries such as Germany, Turkey, Spain among others. At the function, Ultraviolette company Chief Executive Officer and founder Narayan Subramanya and Co-founder Neeraj Rajmohan were present.

Speaking after the kick-starting export process, Patil said there was a time when, the country depended on imports for electric two-wheelers but now thanks to the Make in India for the World initiative, the Ultraviolette Company near Bengaluru is not only manufacturing high quality electric vehicles for domestic market but has also advanced to the stage of exporting them to international markets.

“The export of electric motorcycles to European markets is a true testament to India’s growing manufacturing prowess,” Patil said and assured to extend all support and cooperation to foster the growth and global success of Ultraviolette Company in coming days.
