Amara Raja Batteries Q2 net up 10 per cent at Rs 136.32 crore

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 123.43 crore during the same period a year ago.

New Delhi: Amara Raja Batteries today posted a 10.44 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 136.32 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 123.43 crore during the same period a year ago, Amara Raja Batteries said in a BSE filing.

Total income from operations of the company also rose by 17.94 per cent to Rs 1,520.44 crore during the quarter from Rs 1,289.14 crore in the year-ago period, it said.

Amara Raja offers a wide range of products such as batteries, power solutions and electronics, among others.
