Sun Pharma shares down 3 per cent; m-cap dips by Rs 5,004 crore

New Delhi: Shares of Sun Pharma fell by 3 percent today amid reports of USFDA inspection at one of the company's plant. The stock slipped 3.04 per cent to end at Rs 665.65 on BSE.
During the day, it dipped 3.48 per cent to Rs 662.60. The scrip was the worst performer among the 30-Sensex stocks. On NSE, it fell by 3 per cent to close at Rs 665.95.
The company's market capitalisation or m-cap tumbled Rs 5,004.17 crore to Rs 1,59,704.83 crore. On the volume front, 7.47 lakh shares of the company were traded on BSE and over 60 lakh shares changed hands on NSE during the day.
As per reports, the USFDA conducted inspections at the company's Dadra plant. The Sensex stayed in the negative zone for the whole day and settled lower by 220.73 points, or 0.74 per cent, at 29,706.61.
