Voltas eyes double digit growth
Voltas would also focus on the growth of the air-cooler segment as it is expecting to sell five lakh units by FY18.
New Delhi: Tata Group company Voltas is looking for a double digit growth in the air condition segment at a time when many analysts are predicting tough economic conditions.
“This category is to grow about 10 per cent...For brand Voltas we have been always outgrowing the industry numbers in last many years. Through our new range of products as split air conditioners and window ACs we would continue to grow more than the industry,” Voltas president and CEO Pradeep Bakshi said on Tuesday. The company gets 73 per cent sales from split AC and rest 27 per cent from traditional widows AC. Voltas has product line-up of over 150 variants of split AC. Voltas would also focus on the growth of the air-cooler segment as it is expecting to sell five lakh units by FY18.
