Bharat Forge Q2 profit rises 13% to Rs 243 crore

PUNE: Bharat Forge, Pune-based auto component major, on Thursday said its consolidated net profit increased 13 per cent year-on-year to Rs 243 crore for the September quarter.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 215 crore in the July-September quarter of last fiscal.
Revenue from operations dropped 2.3 per cent on year to Rs 3,689 crore (as against Rs 3,774 crore last year) due to weakness in the European automotive market.
“Looking ahead into H2 FY25, we expect the performance to be stable as compared to H1 FY25 as we continue to focus on revenue growth and profitability improvement in our subsidiaries (Indian & Overseas),” said Baba Kalyani, Chairman and Managing Director at Bharat Forge.
Shares of the company were trading 1.03 per cent up at Rs 1,335.10 apiece on BSE.
