Manohar Parrikar seeks tips to better accounts

New Delhi: Defence minister Manohar Parrikar has asked ICAI to suggest him on improving the functioning of accounting system for his ministry.

“CAs are the best advisors to any business. I would ask ICAI to come out with some suggestions for further improving the functioning of accounting system for the ministry of defence,” he said addressing the delegates on The Chartered Accountants Day.

In his Presidential address, ICAI president M. Devaraja Reddy said that “ICAI will also be participating in a first of its kind initiative in enabling the success of the Income Declaration Scheme, 2016.”
