JAMP Pharma, Genesys to set up units

Hyderabad: Canada’s JAMP Pharma on Thursday said that the the company will set up a centre of excellence for R&D and manufacturing and will invest around Rs 250 crore.
The centre will come up in the Genome Valley cluster here, is expected to generate 2,000 direct jobs over the next 24 months, according to the statement.
Telangana IT and industries minister K.T. Rama Rao assured of complete support from the Telangana government.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad-based biotech firm GeneSys Biologics announced the inauguration of its state-of-the-art biotechnology manufacturing facility in the Genome Valley.
