Aircel to offer unlimited calls, data on Independence Day

To avail the offer, customer will have to recharge with Rs 123 which will remain valid for one day only.

Aircel launched the first of its Swacch Vidyalaya' in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Wednesday.

New Delhi: Telecom operator Aircel on Friday announced that it will provide unlimited local calls and data to its customers on the eve of the 70th Independence Day for Rs 123.

"With 'Azaadi Offer' we are removing the cost barrier for our customers and replacing it with unlimited benefits," Aircel Chief Marketing Officer Anupam Vasudev said in a statement.

To avail the offer, customer will have to recharge with Rs 123 which will remain valid for one day only. The company is a pan-India 2G operator with 3G spectrum in 13 circles.
