Hyderabad: Meela Jayadev is the new president of the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) for 2023-24. The outgoing President Anil Agarwal handed over the baton to Jayadev, who is currently a senior vice president. Suresh Kumar Singhal is elected as senior vice president.

Jayadev is the managing director of Sudhakar Irrigation Systems, director of Sudhakar PVC Products and Sudhakar Polymers.

Jayadev served as a managing committee member for more than 15 years and chaired various expert committees of the FTCCI. He is also an active member of All India Plastics Manufacturers Association and Andhra Pradesh Plastics Manufacturers Association.

Singhal also served on the managing committee of FTCCI for over a decade. He is the founder of Shalini Steel, manufacturer of TMT Bars.  

FTCCI has a membership of more than 3,000 direct members with its 160 associations/chambers of commerce and an indirect membership of over 25,000. It is an important forum for interaction between government, business, and industry, said Jayadev.

Effort will be to foster a healthy and pro-business environment, aim at issue advocacy while nurturing sustainable industrial development, he said.
