Warangal Urban Coop. Bank achieves good profit: Chairman
WARANGAL: With the continuous efforts put in by the employees, the Warangal Urban Cooperative Bank has got a record profit of ₹3.61 crores during the 2022-23 financial year, said the chairman of the bank Errabelli Pradeep Rao after presenting the annual report in the 27th conference meeting held here in Warangal on Sunday.
By providing advanced and modern facilities along with the establishment of six ATMs for the convenience of customers at various places across the district, the bank earned record benefits.
During the 2022-23 financial year, the bank got ₹173.45 crores deposits from customers and sanctioned ₹117.54 crores loans with a total business turnover of around ₹290.99 crores, he informed. The Warangal Urban Cooperative Bank is also offering Central government schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).
The bank is also extending ₹50,000 financial aid for death by accidents; and for kidney transplantation and heart-related ailments, the bank provides ₹20,116 financial aid to the children of shareholders.
The bank is also taking up several social service activities, he added. Vice-chairman Thota Jagannadam, directors M.Venu Gopal, K.Chandramouli, T.Sampath Kumar, Md.Gousuddin, Dr V. Pavan Kumar, B. Papi Reddy, P. Harinath, P. Ravi Kumar, B. Bhargavi and M. Swapna were also present on the occasion.
