BSE joins hands with Shanghai Stock Exchange

BSE has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shanghai Stock Exchange to facilitate the development of channels of communication.

Mumbai: The BSE has joined hands with the Shanghai Stock Exchange to facilitate the development of channels of communication and foster relationshipbetween India and China.

 The two exchanges will explore the possibility of dual listing and development of fixed income market and development of joint trading platform for off-shore products among other areas of co-operation.

“BSE has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shanghai Stock Exchange to facilitate the development of channels of communication and to foster a continuing relationship between the parties for the benefit of financial services industry in the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of India," BSE said. “The MoU will facilitate the maintenance of orderly securities markets in the two countries,” it added.
